Neuroscience Resources
Here you will find valuable resources that can tell you more about various conditions, diagnostic tests, and treatments.

FAQ:

• What is a Neurosurgeon?
A Neurosurgeon is a physician and surgeon who treats conditions of the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system with novel surgical techniques, this is different from a Neurologist who would primarily use medications to treat neurological conditions.

Neurosurgeons can treat a variety of conditions in the brain, spine and peripheral nerves.

• Can I Email my MRI/CT?
We have a portal through which patients can upload their imaging. Otherwise CD’s can be hand carried on the day of the appointment when the images will be uploaded and the CD immediately given back to the patient. If you are a patient living outside of Southern California we can email you a link to upload the images or images can be mailed to us for review during your appointment.
